I know what you mean, I don't get much snow in El Paso, but when I vivsit New Mexico, or go to the desert, I want to be able to handle whatever is in front of me, and stock wouldn't be able to.
About the rotating, can I flip the tires on the rim, so that what was near the engine is now facing out on the rim? If so, I should be able to add a couple years to the life of the tire if they continue to wear like they have been.

Depends on the tire. As long as it's not a directional tread (most truck tires aren't) then you could do it. You'd just have pay someone to re-mount and balance every time you do.
Or, you could have them set the camber a tiny extra in so that the tires are actually riding a touch to the outside when driving straight.

This thread is ancient. I did solve the issue on mine years ago with a proper full realignment and reset of the toe-in. Been running 37s on very curvy roads for many years since without further issue.
