Default Turn Signal Problem

Maybe someone can help me with this, Shortly after I got my truck, my left blinker started to blink rapidly (indicating bad bulb of course), but then would correct itself and be fine for several days. The issue would come and go over the course of driving the truck around.

One day, it went and stuck that way. Rear Drivers side turn signal doesn't work, so I replace the bulb, but that didn't fix it either. Still Rapidly blinks.

Checked it with a meter and didn't seem to be getting any voltage out of the bulb plug or the harness connecting the two. I didn't get any further than that yet though.

I am looking for some advice, are there any known issues? or fixes I can check to make this a quicker repair?

I know I read that shifting the steering column up and down could fix it. No luck with that one though.

Was going to go get a clymers manual, in hopes of electrical schematics to troubleshoot the issue, but it seems as though they only made them for the 04-06 models. My 07 is the same right, all things should apply? Do these books still have schematics in them? I know the one I have for my 01 f150 did.

Thanks, any input is appreciated, have a long drive tomorrow and would like my blinker to be in working order!
