my left front blinker has been acting up for a while now. its not the bulb because ive replaced it. sometimes the bulb is on but wont blink when i hit the left turn signal. sometimes the bulb is just off completly. i have to constantly open the hood and move the wire harness around where the bulb is and it turns on. any movement makes it just turn off again. any ideas on what it could be?

I would have to say the wire is broken at the plug.

 

Sounds like you have found your problem if wiggling the wire at the plug fixes it temporarily. You got a bad connection my friend. Time to look at fixing/replacing the plug or soldering a wire in if the wire is split. Call up a friend that knows a thing or two about electrical connections and they should be able to help.

 

You should probably check out the relay too because the signal isn't blinking while it has power.
