I have a 2004 f150 with the 4.6 4x4. I wanna hear TRUE stories about people's experiences with their tuners. What tuner they have, if they had horror stories or if fuel mileage went up or down. I want people who actually calculated their mpg after fill up and didn't guess! Thank you!
Also I have 33s

i put an edge evolution on my 5.4l and i normally drive it in setting 2 which is for towing. pre tuner i could get close to 20mpg in summer... post tuner i get 15mpg. after my lift i am lucky to get 13mpg but its the easiest cheapest power you will buy.

I have a Gryphon (writable Edge by PHP). No difference in mileage from before installation- averaging about 17 mpg mixed city highway. (Just know this-the programmer reports about 2 mpg better than actual. I've heard that's a Ford ECM reporting issue, but who knows? The numbers I'm telling you are actual/correct. Running level 2/87 tow. Got about 13 mpg towing a 4500 lb trailor in rolling hills. Much improved throttle response and shifting. Zero horror stories after two years of use. Only other current mod is gotts intake and one step up from stock tires-265/70-R17 General AT2. 4.6 4x4 SCAB w/6.5' bed, 3.55.

I have an Edge Evolution CTS and it has been great so far. Bought it used with not problems. Hooks up easily. I had it on power level 1 for awhile which is Trans Only and it just didn't feel right. Waited until I burnt most of the 83 octane gas and put some 93 octane. Switched it to level 3 and never looked back. Was never able to break the tires loose but now I can. Only saw an increase of maybe .3 gallons. Been on the truck for about a month now with a Volant CAI. If you get one, I would buy it from Gryphon so that they can write some custom tunes for you. If you buy a used Edge like me, you can get it converted to a Gryphon by PHP. It's like $60 for 1 custom tune from them. Good luck man.
