Default Tuners

I can save $70 buying a new sct3 tuner over a new gryphon. Should I just go with the savings? I have a stock power train and will keep it that way, with a few minor changes to come (as money allows) Ideas?
Sorry for the repeat thread

Why would you spend the extra money on a Gryphon vice and Edge if your leaving your truck stock.
