So my custom tune was done today so got on the software hooked up my edge and was hoping to get my tune installed. When I open it i click "update" then "custom file download (Internet)" after that its says "establishing with server" then a box pops up that says unable to locate a valid target instruction file. What does this mean what do I need to do?

 

Is this for the edge CS or CTS?

Sounds like maybe they don't have your correct serial number for edge.

 

That or your hex number.. You could try again and call them tomorrow at 9am if it doesn't work.

 

I checked the S number and it was right I didn't check the hex though!

 

1. Is your truck back to stock? 2. If yes to #1, call Edge because they have had issues with Fusion. Bill keeps yelling at them, but he has little control over their server.

 

Bill emailed me back last night and said their server was down due to the weather so I'm going to try again today!

 

So how does the PHP tunes work? You can buy an Edge CS or CTS from anywhere and have it in hand, and then pay PHP to make you a custom tune for which you can hook the programmer to the computer via USB and download the tune and update it to your programmer without having to send it anywhere?
