Default Truck won't start with key

I have a 2005 5.4 f150, it won't start with the key, only turns on my electrical, not the engine. However, it does start when I use the stock command start. Any possible solutions? Thanks!

Sounds like a PATS problem, do you have another key you can try? Maybe the chip inside your key is damaged.

I imagine the key opens the doors still if when you put it in the ignition it turns all the accessories on but won't let your truck crank if sounds like the chip is damaged. Try a different key like said above. Beware the trucks have a theft lock out mode that will put the truck I'm lockout for I believe 24 hrs if your try an start it to many times with a non chipped key even. If the lockout gets enabled even a chipped key will not start the truck. At least that's what the locksmith said when I got another key made
