Default Truck pull

I did a truck pull today verses a 99 Tahoe with a 5.7L and lost. Both were in 2wd. He has a lower kit and street tires mine is stock. Why did I lose?

Want to win every truck pull........Pull your brake light fuse hold the brakes till he start spinning apply some gas while holding the brakes find the magic moment when the brakes are holding him and your engine is ready to pull the let off that brake you will pull every time unless he has u by alot good luck....PS i don't suggest this game really hard on a trannny!!

Most likely traction was the culprit. Suv has more weight on the rear axle so in 2wd you are SOL.

Do you have the limited or non-limited slip on your truck?

Throw some weight in er and try to make sure your connection point on tour truck is higher then his. It can help pull the truck down and help traction. I pulled with a dodge hemi both in 4 low on pavement and pulled him no problem 4 or 5 times in a row. Both were 4 door trucks. Tried pulling against an f250 with the 5.4 and a reg cab and no matter what I tried I couldn't even come close
