Default Troubleshooting help

Before I spend money on parts I don't want to buy:

Getting codes for lean bank 1, misfire cyl 2&4, running like crap, no power, etc...

I know I've had an issue with the COP on #4, need to take care of that.

Follow my logic for a second:

Plugs are "new" (less than 10K, motorcrafts)

If the misfire was due to spark issues, I would assume it would be rich bank one, not lean.

FPDM is good.

I'm thinking injectors are the place to start without tossing money at random issues.

Comments?

Thanks in advance.

Forgot....

I'd fix the COP issue first, then swap the suspect injectors with other injectors to see if the code switches bank, then go from there.

Yep, just wanted to make sure I was barking up the right tree. Sometimes symptoms on complex systems can lead you down the primrose path.

And the winner was injector on #2.

I did spend extra on parts, someone on ebay had a set of injectors rebuilt for the price of 2 from Advance auto.

Swapped the COP on #4 and the injector on 2 and it's running like it used to. Had an oopsie after starting it, took it for a test drive, pulled out of the driveway like I did with it running like crap, now I have to go fill in 2 holes in the gravel.
