Default Trouble

I have a 2005 f150 xlt supercrew, got it last year round spring time. Having it for bout a month or two I noticed a grinding noise from my driver side front wheel. Figured it was the hub assembly bearings were bad. Well over 600 dollars later it ended up being the inner wheel accuator fr the vacuum system to lock the hub. Well it's been good sine yesterday afternoon when I went to work. It's not as bad as before but now does it when ever I drive normally never did till highway speed. Could it be a weak draw on that wheel or a bad accuator? Please help wit this I don't know why all sudden it just started. Also replaced iwe seleniod on fire wall wit new style before I did the accuator.

Ya I've looked at them earlier in the week but I can't seem to find any cracks or anything. U know of a way to check if there is good vacuum to that hub w/o a tester?
