Default Transmition problem need advise.

When I put it in revise it takes about 3 to 5 seconds to engage and when it dos it is slow to do so. As if the pressure belds up sloley.
A transmition shop said it is gone and need a rebuild.
Trans oil is clean and changed regularly. My truck is Scrow 5.4 2005, 136,000 mil.
Any advise on that.

Yep. Rebuilt transmission replacement, or have yours rebuilt.

Mine has been doing that for a year now. No clue how to tell how much longer it will last. Hopefully its nothing to worry about.

If you know you're gonna have to do it, let it ride till it breaks then fix/replace it when it goes out. Who knows how much longer it will last.

And it will most likely break at the worst oppertune time, while in traffic, of speeding down a quiet road miles away from help.
