Me to, man, me to....... I must have really gotten a gem of a truck when I bought my current one. I am not having any issues that seem to be running rampant on here, Ex. Transmission, the cam phaser ticking/failure, etc. etc.. And yes, my truck gets abused but is well taken care of in the maintenance department.

I was thinking that if mine ever did go i would look into the new 6 speed
does anyone know if they can be swapped out?

id love to replace mine with a 6 speed also..i wonder how much fabbing would be required.

So I finally got my truck back yesterday and I decided to take a little trip to Houston from corpus and it was driving like a dream for the first 20 miles and then every time it would shift it would give me a good kick... And when I got to Houston I tried to flip her into 4x4 and it wouldn't switch... Guess it's another week without my truck

So what is the weak spot in these transmissions? Thought they been used for a long time.
