Default Transmission oil cooler line connection

On my 2002 F150 I am replacing the transmission oil cooler line (inlet upper). The replacement line (Dorman part# 624269) ends in a 3/8 in. hose for attachment to the radiator (passenger side). My original line ends in a 3/4 in. threaded fitting with a quick connect to the 3/8 line itself - no hose. I assume that I was supposed to cut the old 3/8 in. line and clamp the new hose onto that line. I cannot do that however because my old line was heavily corroded and I damaged the fitting when I removed it.

I hoped to find an aftermarket NPT fitting which I could use to connect the new hose to the radiator, but have not been able to find such a fitting.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This is a 2002 F-150 v8 4.6l 4R70W transmission w/ auxilliary cooler.
