Transmission nightmare
2004 f150 5.4 4x4 screw
ok so i used a tranny guy that a friend suggested. he rebuilt the tranny and out in a shift kit and did all of the rebuild tranny stuff. (he says) I piked it up after a week and it was winning in park and up to about 30mph. i did not take it and i told him to fix it. long story short..........he says he cannot find it and it sounds like it is coming from transfer case that he says he did not have anything to do with. He has had it for a month and says he cant find the whine in his work. I do not know what to do at this point............Any ideas?

Did it whine prior to him working on it? If not, then it is on his part. Did he not warranty his work? Sounds like a shotty shop to me. If he doesn't make it right I would file a small claims case against him.
