Something new. 04 4wd, 5.4 engine.
We made a run from seattle to Montana. Noticed on the way back that at lower rpms, in high gear, we started hearing a clunking when we'd get on the throttle. Felt like the lock up was trying to engage and dis engage. With little or no load, or at higher rpms it seemed to go away. Became noticeably more persistent the further we went.

Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?
