Default Transmission issue

'06 5.4L auto tranny.... Ive searched for similar issue I'm experiencing but nothing quit fits the bill so I'm posting a new tread here.

Truck is experiencing a transmission issue where it sounds like it winding too high. (wind tunnel) I'm not a expert in transmission nor am I an expert in auto repair but I know this same occurrence will happen when trannys are cold but this isnt the case. I don't believe it's an issue of shifting hard because when you just gradually accelerate it shifts ok but it sounds like its winding up to high or as I would call it like your in a wind tunnel. I would say it sounds just like when you shift into 1st or 2nd gear manually and winder' out. I'm hoping it's not the tranny but with 140k on it hard to say and I don't know if it's been replaced before.

I have standard size tires and don't know what rear end ratio is in it but I'm hoping it's something electric or vacuum issue. I've check for lose connector or blown fuses, nada! Ive check the transmission level, ok and doesn't smell burnt, good color. Everything is still standard on this, I've done no modifications.

Game on!

To be honest I don't know, I just bought the truck last month. I know the oil has been changed but don't know about the transmission. I scheduled to have the transmission fluid changed so hopefully that will help. I took it in today to pull the codes and nothing was present.
