I want to compile a complete listing of transmission codes for 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 F150s. This information can be found in the "Workshop Manual" volume 1 on page 100-01-8 and my request is for the owners of 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 Workshop Manual owners to help me by taking a moment to look at your manual and provide feed back to me. I have a copy of Workshop Manual for Model year 2007 and have posted the information for that year as follows:

Please Note: The door jam sticker on the F150s list the transmission code (below the UPC code) under the "TR" column not "INT TR" which is the interior trim.

 

more than likely 04-08 will all be the same as they all use the same subsection of the WSM

 

Here is my unverified info for a

Transmission Type 2005 from the 2005 F150 FSM:

• A — 4-speed automatic, 4R70E
• B — 4-speed automatic, 4R75E
• M — 5-speed manual, M5R2-C
