I have had my transgo shift in for a week now and since I got it back I noticed the 2-3 feels like a car rear ended that's how hard it shifts,

Is this normal??

 

What's a transgo shift... valve-body kit ?? or a shifter mod ??

 

It's just a shifting mod I think

 

not understanding what the kit does...sorry but hard shifts are not always bad...firm is good.

 

I think it swaps out springs in the valve body/accumulator and adds new differently sized orifices for fluid to flow through the separator plate. Firm, uncomfortable shifts may have something to do with your tire size... A smaller tire will allow you to feel the shift more...

Aside from the rough shift, what's your opinion on the kit? Any good?

 

I think the kit is well worth the money. It shifts much faster and there is no lag between shifts! Much better than stock!!

 

Lol I have a trans go kit on my maxima and its definitely going to cause the car to shift harder and faster lol.... don't know if I would do this mod to my truck tho
