Default Transfer case problem

I noticed something dripping underneath my trucks oday so I looked under it and there was transmission fluid dripping off my u joint on my driveshaft Is there a seal I can change in my transfer case if so how hard is it to do. And I haven't checked the fluids yet because I haven't had time thanks in advance for the responses

its a known problem that the transmission seal leaks into the transfer case. Remove the fill plug on the tcase and if you get fluid out, check the trans level. I think they knew this might happen as the trans and tcase use the same stuff

How do you tell if tcase has too much?
When you do a fluid change in trans should u do it in t -case as well?

the tcase has a fill and drain plug so if you pull the fill plug and get fluid out you have a leaky seal.
The transmission and tcase are separate they just take the same stuff

I had the same issue recently, the front seal between the transfer case and the transmission was leaking, and the rear seal between the extension housing and driveshaft was leaking. I paid the dealer to do it for me, a charge of $1,200, with some additional parts and labour. This required disconnecting the front driveshaft, rear driveshaft, removing the transfer case, disassembling and checking the transfer case and finally reinstalling everything together with new seals.

At the rear transfer case cover you will see a fill and drain plug. Park your truck on a level surface and remove the top fill plug with a 1/2-inch drive ratchet. Stick your little finger inside and you should feel fluid right below the fill hole. If not, then add some fluid until it spills out.

I took the plug out last night and about a quart of fluid cane out of the fill plug. But the transmission isn't low or anything
