Hey guys, I was wondering what trans I have in my truck.Its a 04
4.6 xl 2wd long bed? And what is the best trans ford makes? 5hanks

Auto or standard?

The best tranny that Ford puts in a vehicle is the T56 from Tremec. 6 speed manual.

its a v8 so it has to be an automatic....

Yea its an auto, I've heard its a 4r70e,4r70w, and also a 4r75e

the 97-03 f150s use the 4r70, and the 04-08s use the 4r75 (at least in the 5.4 liters) I believe its a 4r75.
