Default Trans problem???

Here is the info.
2004 Ford F150 Supercrew Lariat 4x4 5.4L auto trans/ 3" leveling kit w/ 325/60R18 cooper stts on ballistic wheels.

Well ever since i got the truck the trans has acted a little weird, and i have always dealt with it nor wanting to go thousands of dollars into a tranny. It didnt change with the new wheels and tires.

Symptoms: Most noticable when its cold. first time driven each day, if i back out of my driveway and put it in drive it shudders and if i roll up to a stop it shudders real bad, (almost like you didnt push the clutch in on a stick shift vehicle) or if i dont have to stop to pull onto the road but slow down to under 10 mph and begin to pull out it feels like your trying to start in high gear...then often when i back up and put it in drive while still rolling back (at like 1 mph) it will stall the truck out...it also doesnt seem as snappy on the highway as my dads 06 f150 or my moms 03 f150....

I dealt with these problems for a year but now my truck is getting around 8 mph in town and 11 on the highway,(use to get 12-13 in town, 16-17 highway) and im not sure if it is caused by the same situation or not.

It shows no codes and has only ever flipped a check engine light but that was a 02 sensor which i replaced and never had the light come back on....

Please help guide me in the right direction on what to do, im thinking plugs and filters just to make sure, im sure it cant hurt...

Im very mechanically inclined but havent done much with these trucks and live in a small town and no one seems to be able to help with knowledge of my situation. thanks in advice Eric R Anderson

A slipping transmission should have thrown a code or blown up by now.

Are you sure its not engine related?

WHen is the last time you did Plugs and coils, cleaned the TB and MAF?
