Default Trans Cooler

So, I searched through old posts and all over the internet last night and couldnt really find what I was looking for.

Since I added my edge evo to my truck, I've been monitoring trans fluid temps. They go from 150 up to around 200 depending on driving conditions and outside temp.

Here in Texas, its not uncommon in the summer to reach 110 degrees.

I've read several articles that trans fluid is fine up to around 210 degrees, but I'd really like to not get that close to it.

I'm looking to add an additional trans cooler to my truck (I have tow package and it came with a cooler stock). I'm going to add one with a fan for when I'm in traffic or off road with little to no air circulation.

Has anyone installed a setup like this? Can you get me a picture of your install? Where did you tap in for 12v power?

Im down here on the Texas Coast, so I hear ya completely about the heat. But what I've noticed with my Gryphon is that regardless of the heat, my fluid temp only gets as high as 171, never over, even sitting in traffic or stop lights. And this is after a transmission flush at 132,000. How many miles do you have on your truck?
Last trans filter change?
Fluid or flush?

Fill us in a little more and we may be able to help figure out whats causing such high heat without having to put in another cooler. Dont get me wrong, another cooler wouldnt be bad, but look around a bit first

This one went around not too long ago. You might find some answers your looking for here.

Also mine never gets that hot either. But I don't tow anything and it doesn't get to 110 much in Iowa
