i have a 2007 f150 4x4 5.4, it would mk a grinding nose, and would continue till u stop. and when u do come 2 a stop it would bang in. ck fluid, and when was cold it read cold same as when hot. so i took it 2 dealer they had 4 a week said they can not find any thing, so i take my truck back and ck fluid next day when cold it read hot on stick? dont know. only have 11,000 miles on truck. they must of add fluid,so dont know what 2 do

 

is it still under warrenty?

 

it sounds like a flow problem, if it is still under warrinty, u should be able to get replaced at minimal cost

 

the dipstick is not a precisely engineered measuring device. has the issue come up since receiving the truck?

 

yes still got warrenty. and i have only driven it bout 10miles since i got it back, but did not do it yet. and thanx for getting back 2 me
