Default Trailer Wiring?

'05 STX SCAB
I found a plug under the dash on the right side, rectangle about 1 X 2 inches, gray and it looks like there are 4 terminals. Is this for the trailer brake control?
At the back of the truck where the harness connects there is a Blue wire coming from the front of the vehicle and on the back side of the plug, where the harness goes to the lights and 4 terminal flat plug there are 4 terminals on the outside of the end of the harness plug and they have these blue rubber plugs in them. One of those corresponds to the Blue wire coming from the front of the truck. Does anyone know what would plug into that terminal and if it in fact is a fast connect for your brake controller? Looks too easy for sure. Thanks for the help.

I talked to a service guy at the Ford dealership and he told me that there were just loose wires to tie in the brake control?? Why would he not know that there is an OEM plug under the dash?
