Default trail or mud grapplers?

As the title states..... I'm buying New tires in bout 2 weeks. They are gonna be 35x12.50x18 and I'm toss newteen the two. Iv heard good things bout the trails but not to much on the muds. I live up in northern Illinois where we do get snow. And I've heard the trails are pretty good in the snow. How do the muds handle? Cuz I do want a very nice aggressive look, but also want to be able to stay on the road in the winter lol. And also the muds are actually a little cheaper too. Any advice would be great and feel free to post pix!

Im running that exact size in the Mud Grapplers now. Everybody says they don't last long but mine are doing awesome. I've got 10k on mine and they look brand new. But I'm taking mine off and selling them because I'm tired of the noise

Do you know how they handle in the snow? And exactly how loud are they? Gotta crank your radio loud?

I used to have mud grapplers on my chevy and they were so noisy. I'm going to check out the trails once the bank allows.

Nitto Trail Grapplers. Great in absolutely every climate condition. They will also have better wear than the Mud Grapplers. Here are some pictures;

My buddy has the mud grapplers on his chevy. Look wicked but they really are too damn loud for most peoples liking. We were next to each other on the highway once, at 65mph and unless my radio was up I could hear his tires.
