those values seem insane.

When I was looking for a truck in '09 I saw a few '04 FX4 supercabs with 75k for $12k at dealers.

I bought my '06 XLT in 2/09 for $14,700.

I was quoted slightly higher than 8k for my 07 XLT with an engine they claim is blown, a tranny or alternator whine, the seat falling apart. I hear what you are saying though, you would think that these trucks would hold value better, or in my case simply hold up.

I cant say anything you listed is horribly bad, but they are all things that you can fix, with the right tools, TSBs, and a Haynes manual.

Like the other guy said pull the neg cable for about 30 to 45 seconds to clear it. O and by the way I have traded one or two in with the check engine light suppose to be on just cleared it with neg cable.

If they want to sell a vehilce bad enough they will give you whats fair for the trade in.
