Default towing power

Hey everyone I currently have a 2008 f150 king ranch. I have a 3" magnaflow exhaust and afe cold air intake along with the edge chip. I am currently not to happy with the towing power. Is there anything else that i can do to get more torque? Ty

maybe so, but if you don't like the power the F150, you are gonna have to stick some major coin in it---supercharger and a built tranny, set you back easy 7500 bucks...or just buy a F250

i am seeing this alot...guys read the manufacturer's specs and towing and then they go drop 30grand on a boat or camper and after the 1st time towing, they are disgusted with it. maybe people just expect too much outta there truck, i towed tons of stuff with my last truck lifted, 3.73's, and 33's and i was pleased, i mean it handled the weight fine, enough power, never let me down...my personal opinoin is people don't understand the physics of towing, i understand most guys buy 1 truck for all there needs and they tow a camper a few times a year, but sad but true is...get over it... the way i see some people tow stuff up here, they should have there damn hitch welded shut, frickin' city slickers from down south, what they think is safe just blows my mind...you can't tow a 30 foot pontoon with a ranger, or a deep v lund boat with a malibu, or a iroc z28 camaro with a bassboat....i got some people are just stupid

bingo! Here in south florida we have polo season from december to april....and BIG trailers, 4-5-6 horse trailers...none of them are towing with gas trucks or half ton trucks, if you want to do some serious towing and i dont mean a bassboat or flats boat, or even an 18ft center console, why buy a gas truck? i think part of the problem is that there are too many idiots with a good paycheck
