my truck is a 4.6 stx. it looks like is has a small transmission cooler in front of the radiator. does that mean it is equipped with the tow package? or do all f150's come with a tranny cooler. i don't have the window sticker and want to find out. thanks in advance for any input.

 

I believe they all come with a trans cooler, but the trailer towing package gets a bigger one. I have compared mine with others, and the cooler was bigger on mine that has the factory package.

 

How Much Bigger is the trans cooler on the one with the tow package?

 

I belive the 4.6 stx's didnt come with the tow package's.I have seen no stx's packages with tow packages

 

according to one of my books, you could get the tow package on a stx.

the one on my car is 21,800GVW....
