trying to figure out if i should just buy the cheap snap on towing mirrors or if i should spend the money and buy the factory towing mirrors and take my stock ones off. looking to see what people think. i pull my camper couple times a year and haul my lawn mowers everyday but can use normal mirrors for mowers.

 

Sounds like you need to weigh the cost vs. benefit here. It's all personal preference and each person has their own opinion. A lot of guys are doing the swap/upgrade because they want a nice clean factory look with increased visibility. There are some who don't think the cost of upgrading is worth it, they don't like the style of the tow mirrors, etc. Being used to the Superduty mirrors, I did the swap and am very happy that I did. I tow my bass boat weekly (at least) and I prefer being able to see everything behind and to the sides of my truck and boat. Bottom line is: if YOU see the benefit of doing it, do it. If you DON'T think it's worth doing, then don't.
