Hey guys anybody tow a lightwieght 5th wheel in thier f150 I have xlt 5.4 crew 6.5 bed. Wife and saw a travel trailor at 6,000 lbs we like. any help thanks

 

I believe the truck is rated to pull 9,900 lbs. You should be fine.

 

Get a bigger truck or smaller trailer. I see too many half ton trucks pulling 5th wheel trailers. They aren't designed for it.

 

that will be no problem mine is about 7500 lbs. its not a 5th wheel but I did have one they pull very nice did not like how it took up the room in the bed I haul stuff quite a bit.

 

Your will be fine.Before i got rid of my 05 xlt,i was pulling a 8300pound trailer just fine.With no hesitation from my gears.I would recomend thoe getting a break controller to make it easeir on your truck.if you dont want to thoe,no biggie.You will be fine
