Default Tow mirrors

Has anyone replaced their mirrors with aftermarket tow mirrors. If so what are your comments on them

I have them and i love them. Only 1 thing is that they r pretty hard to push in toward the truck like when i park and dont want them sticking out. I bought them off ebay i think. I have a pic or 2 in my profile of them

I replaced mine a while ago, I didn't really like them the first day or two, until I got them adjusted just right (the convex lens) and got used to the 2 mirrors on one side, now I love mine.

But I bought Factory reproduction mirrors, for the OEM look.

If you have factory power/heat/turn signal, don't be surprised if you have to move around some pins. my turn signal flashes my heated mirror indicator. Its not hard to figure out, I haven't gotten to it yet, as I have bigger issues.

Btw u will never use the top mirror after a while. All i use is the bottom mirror and they r the best for highway driving. Zero blind spots. And yea i forgot the heated mirrors button blinks when u put the blinkers on but i kinda like that. And i didnt buy heated aftermarket towing mirrors, not sure why i didnt but i wish i did

Mine are supposed to have the heated and power and turn signals. I guess we will see how they work out.

Picked up some for the old mans '06. Identical to my '08 factory set with one small exception. The passenger side top glass is standard glass (slightly smaller viewing area, does not say 'objects in mirror ...'). ordered them from these guys, this model, http://www.1aauto.com/1A/Mirrors/For...18/511989/2006
After you get used to the mirror difference (and I only relize it because of my pickup) they are great, heavy solid units, and I think you would like them.

Go the mirrors put on today and they look great. Easy to install and all the features work including the puddle lights. Couldn't be happier with how they turned out
