tow mirror question

Cool tow mirror question

i have a 06 screw with stock mirrors no lights. my question is the tow mirrors available have marker lamps and turn signal lamps. am i able to plug and play these with my current setup? or will i need to do some wiring work.

You'll have to do a bit of work- either a simple pin swap or slightly more complex (but still simple) wiring. I know on the trucks that have the blinkers and heat from the factory, it's a simple pin swap. If your factory mirrors don't have these features, your harness may not have the wiring present, in which case you'd have to tap in to the blinker circuit and also run power (and a switch) for the heat feature. The mod is well worth doing- I just did mine a month ago and absolutely love the visibility (of course, I've been used to the Superduty mirrors).

If you cant find a good enough one on here, f150online has a real good one that I used. I am pretty sure I posted on a thread here a few months ago and posted a link to it.
