Oh well then you probably dont have the signal wire in your harness im not really sure though as i have the lariat which does. Sorry but unfortunately you might have to wire it yourself.

Thanks. Sorry for the lack of knowledge on my part lol but one more question. How do I tell if I already have the harness with the turn signals and puddle lights?

Have a look at the pic i posted of diagram for 2005 note the colors and where they are in your plug . if its not there then well you know it wont work as for puddle lamps 06 didnt have the option as far as i know so u have to manually do that too
