Heat function:

Unless you have a heated rear window, then you will have to add a new fuse box and switch panel in order to get the heat function to work.

Puddle Lights:

You will have to run a wire from spot 11 on the door connector to the drivers side door sill panel where you can pick up the dome light wire. Should be a lt. blue wire with a black strip. It is near the bottom on the wire loom. You should probably test it to make sure it is the right one. It may be a black wire with a lt. blue stripe...I do know black and lt. blue are involved though..haha

For the paddle light, do I have to do both sides?

Meaning both mirrors?

Yeah...you can run the wire across the truck from the passenger side to the drivers side.

Read that and picture from Tasca and moving pins confused me. But I think I got it. If u go by Tasca picture u have to move the 16 pin to 1 pin. And 14 pin u have to add a extra pin and wire and run that to the dome light wire. I had to draw a picture of my harness. Then took a picture of the mirror pins. Then compared it to Tasca picture

Another question is do I have to do the same to both mirrors?

What gauge wire should I use? And how would I get the pins that go on there. Meaning where and how to purchase?

You can get the pins from a dealership. You may be right with the pins so im not sure..I thought i read 11 but if you just checked it then go with it. You do have to wire both mirrors if you want both puddle lights to work. Also you can use 16 or 18 gauge wire. Its not a big deal. Theres no need to go crazy with low gauge wire.

I used 18 gauge and snaked it along the harness thru the rubber boot into the kick panel(used a coat hanger). Light Blue strip on Black wire is the dome lights. Drivers side kick panel(behind hood release). There is a large plug with a bolt thru it-the wire is towards the outside of the truck. There is Lt Blue/Black wire that is toward the inside-dont use that. Search Dome light wire, there is a really good write up here on hooking up the puddles. I just wire tapped the 2 mirror wires onto to the dome light right there.
Be careful plugging and unplugging the mirrors into the truck, I kinda jacked the little pins on the mirror side of mine.
-I couldnt see your pics.

If you plan on changing your puddle lights to LEDs do it now before fully installing.

I was thinking of doing that. What size led and type of led? Is it easy? I read online somewhere someone did it but had to hack saw it to open it. I have Cree bulbs on my cargo and reverse.
