i would start by google searching the wiring harnesses. The colors of the wires for the corresponding year of your truck and of the new mirrors. Then you should be able to just splice and tape or solder and shrink wrap.

And then he posted for help on the issue when the info provided in the first post shows incompatibilities, then wants help to fix

OP, I would compare wire colors from old harness to new harness, find a wire schematic, and cut the pig tail from your old mirrors, and re-wire. DO solder and DO heat shrink.

There alot of threads right here on this site. If you want to cut and splice wires thats up to you.
Much easier to release the pins and simply relocate them.

My swap was an 2004 XLT with 2013 P/H/S mirrors.

mine is a 2007 but it should be similar to what you did with your mirrors, which ones did you move and were too?

From my understanding they made changes 07 up. For my 04 I just had to change one wire. Everything else worked.

If no one else with experience with this chimes in you can determine which wire does what with a test light.
