Smile Top of engine cover

HELP! My husband and I just bought a beautiful 2007 F-150. The list on the car dealers invoice said the tires were cupped, and engine cover missing. They put on new tires...very nice ones, but didn't put on engine cover. I have talked to various ford dealers, but haven't had any luck. The place where we bought the truck said to look at junk yards. The top of the engine looks pretty ugly and bare looking. I've seen pics on the web of trucks with covers over the top of engines. Can anyone help me!? Thank you very much. The truck was a one owner with 60,078 miles on it. It is CLEAN....LOVE IT!!

Greetings and congratulations on your purchase. Do you have the 5.4 24V? The top of the engine doesn't really have a "cover" other than the air intake assembly. Post a pic of yours and perhaps we can compare.

Yeah, not much of a cover. Maybe it has an aftermarket intake?

It's the 4.6. Thank you for your help. How would I "clean engine?" Don't like bits of rust on it. Take care...

hope they fixed what was cupping the tires before they put new rubber on it...or its gonna cup the news ones also. cupping tires is a sign of bad struts/shocks.
