Too small?!?!?
Hey gals and guys,
Just wanted to get your opinion on this......my curret set up is 2.5 leveling kit with 305/65/18 BF wrapped around the factory 18" FX4 wheels.
My question is: if I put a 6" lift kit and stick with my tire/rim set up, would that look funny? Would it hurt my tire tread or anything else?
I've searched the internet for pics of trucks with 6" lift that kept there stock wheels and it doesn't look that bad. Yes, it could use more meat on the tire, but other than that, I "think" it looks ok, but I could be totally wrong. I'm really wanting a lift kit, but I also want to keep my set up until I run out of tread on my 305/65, which will take some time, considering they only have about 6K miles on them. What do you guys think?
Pics would be nice too, if you or someone you know have a 6" lift kit with factory rims.
ALSO: I'm looking for a good shop to take my truck in to get it lifted, anyone in Oklahoma or the surrounding state (I am willing to travel if the price is right) that you guys can recommend????
I know there's a lot of questions I'm asking, so please excuse my noob-ness.
Thanks

Well I'm looking to get my six inch lift as well to! I'm just a 2wd and not a 4wd like you. I've heard really good things about the 4 wheel parts garage if you have any around you. For your main question I don't think it would look to bad. To get the lift and wheels and tires all at one is a heavy penny...but I wouldn't say it's a big deal.
In my opinion, 4wheelparts can be good or bad. We have one about 40 miles from here and as long as you know someone that works there, they'll steer you in the right direction, but if you don't, then they'll try to take advantage of you, BUT there prices are pretty good.
