Default tires on stock rims

If this is of help to anyone - I put Pro Comp 35x12.5x17's on the stock rims of my 2006 4x4 with a Hellbent Steel 3" leveling kit. They fill out the wheel wells nicely, but they do rub on the upper control arms with the wheel turned fully. I also did some minor adjustments to the rear wells to give maximum clearance while loaded - which is often - basically used a 4"x4" to bang out the fender supports and any sheet metal that looked like it might cause problems.

Does anyone have pics of 2004 Ford F150 with 33 inch mud tires, without a leveling or lift kit.

Default 33's on Stock 20's

Will these fit on a 08 screw 4x4 without any rub? If they do fit , would you still put a 2" level on it and why?

Thanks in advance!

I put a 2.5" leveling kit on my 2007 SCrew 4x4 with 33.4" Nitto Trail Grappler M/Ts and at max lock out i felt it rub once or twice but when do you usually lock out your wheels?? I was told that 33" tires would fit w/out a leveling kit and 35s with a leveling kit. I think my tires would rub without the kit but cant be sure since I havent tried it. But mostly I did it for the looks not the tire rub. If you buy the kit from HellBentSteel.com they are pretty cheap and it didnt take too long to put it on by myself with no prior experience. Here is a pick with the tires and leveling kit.

I have a 2006 Scab FX4 with 2.5 level kit and 33x12.5 Toyo mud tires. I have no rub at all and truck still has factory ride. The level kit I have is from Autosprings which builds its kits with an offset that somehow prevents any rub according to their web site. Turns out they was telling the truth because I have no rub at all and the truck sits perfectly level. The tech at 4wheels parts strongly recommended the Autosprings 2.5. He said from experience that most problems he seen with rubbing was from customers using 2 inch kits with tires 33" or bigger. Results will vary by model but I can only speak on my specific model "2006 FX4 Scab with 33x12.5 Toyo's MTs)
