I would go with the 305/55's, you'll be fine since your truck is a 4WD. Like I said, I'd throw a 2" leveling kit on just to improve the looks of it, but it's not necessary to fit the tires. As far as which tire to go with the more popular brands are Toyo Open Country, Nitto Terra Grappler, Mickey T's and Pro Comp. Really depends on what you're looking for. Personally I'd throw on the 2" leveling kit and maybe consider a set of 35's.

i am told by some other people that i need the 2.5 inch leveling kit with the 305/55's

"You can drive straight on a smooth road and tell people that there is no rubbing but one bump while in the slightest of turns and you will rub without the kit."

but what size is 35's that your talking about? 305/65 or what

thanks for your input

also I want as less space in between the tire and the body, i dont like a lot of space and the leveling kit would just make more room, will it really look that much better?

If you go with the 2.5" leveling kit I'd throw a set of 35x12.50's on there.

305/55r20 is what was on my truck before i put a leveling kit on and they fit just fine!! yes they will work on a 8.5 wheel, they just recommend that you use a 9-10 inch wheel....they might wear a bit funny but just keep them rotated and you should be fine!

was wondering if I install a 2 inch leveling kit could I put 34 inch tires on my truck (06 ford f150 4x4) and not rub? my rims are 20x8.5 backspace is 5.73 and offset is 25

thanks for all the help so far, im just having the toughest time trying to pick which tires to buy, what will look pretty aggressive and fill the wheel well the most and not rub. i have the rims and leveling kit at my house.. just need the tires!

please help!!

and what tires + sizes come in around 34 inch? thank you.

would 35 x 12.50 R20 Nitto Mud Grappler Tires work with the leveling kit and not rub? would these fit a 20x8.5 rim? please let me know, thanks

35" is a bit big and i think that they might rub a bit at a turn.. 305/55r20 is about a 34" and that is what i run...
