Default Tire replacement

Hey everyone,
Currently have 285/70R17 BFG TA KO tires on my truck. Well the tread is getting low and I have some odd wear on them. I was thinking, because they are expensive if I would be fine replacing 1 tire ( I have a new spare) and putting those on the rear and then choosing the best 2 out of the ones I currently have and having those on the front, as well as getting an alignment and everything checked. Can I do that or will it cause issues with having used on the front and new on the back...I don't want to damage anything. I would rather pay more now than damage my baby.

Have the front end checked out completely. Normally odd or unusual wear is from loose parts and or worn shocks/struts. The tire placement you describe will be fine.

I figured I have something off as they are wearing on the inside...and my steering wheel is slightly off center. I plan on getting an alignment when I get the tires mounted.
