Default Tire question?

Just did the leveling kit on my 2006 f150 5.4 2wd. Current tire size is 265/70r17. Will getting bigger tires like 34s add to the hight? Of so, about how much. I plan to keep the stock rims

If you put taller tires on.....it will make your truck taller....

Not trying to be a wise guy, but it's that simple. The height of the sidewall will determine how much higher than your stock tires they will be if you're keeping the stock rims.

Ok thank you. Sorry it was Probably a dumb question but I was just wondering before I went and spent the money upgrading them. Still trying to learn more about all this I'm learning quick though lol however I could tell you all about makeup lmao I just really wanted to know if it would be a difference I would notice of not.

Thanks for the reply

Old saying goes: "It's not a dumb question if you don't know the answer"

I went three sizes up from stock and it does make a difference. It depends on the look you want. I wanted to keep my stock rims, but had to fill in the wheel wells a little after installing a leveling kit. I only have about an inch clearance into my garage so that's as high as I'm going. I'm not giving up a nice warm garage for a little more height.

Your stock tire of 265/70/17 is almost 32" so going to a 34" tire will raise your truck 1" from where it sits now. 2" of tire= 1" on bottom of rim, 1" above the rim on the section width.
