Am I suppose to run max air pressure in my tires

I don't think you're suppose to. On my old tires I ran them at 35 psi and their Max was around 65.

I believe the best pressure to use is 35-40 psi. I run my 295/70 (33.3") 35 psi

recommended tire pressure is located on your door plaque. this is the recommended tire pressure for stock tires.

Never run your tires to the MAX pressure labled on the tire itself. with aftermarket tires you kinda have to play with tire pressures to get it where you like it as far as wear and ride quality but i wouldnt go over the max rated pressure stated on the tire itself.

remember if youre too high on tire pressure you can overinflate your tires causing them to wear more in the center of the tire instead of evenly across the whole tire. if youre too low on pressure you can underinflate them causing the outsides of the tire to wear more than the rest of the tire.
