Default Tire madness

Almost due for a new set of tires and ive been having trouble selecting a size for weeks. I can get 275/70r18 at3s for $653 or 295/70r18 for around 900 bucks. Is it really worth the extra 200 for a little bit of width? Keep i mind im a broke highschool kid so money is an issue. Any thoughts?

With the 295's you will also gain a little bit of height as well as width. The 275's are roughly 33" tall while the 295's are about 34.2"

Well then you should be able to run either tire and be fine with clearance issues. However it comes down to what do you and the truck do on a regular basis and if the extra 250 or so bucks it is to get the bigger tires will be worth it in the long run. You also gotta consider, bigger tire=less fuel economy. Thaat part alone was the worst thing I had to deal with in HS and gas was $1.70 or so back then. Personally I would say get the 275's just because that is money you can use for other things or on the women that you plan on wooing in your fancy pick up

Haha ill probably go with the 275s i just dont want them to look too skinny, and i can spend the extra money on an edge evo.

Compromise??? 285/70 or 295/65. Wider width with the same series sidewall will be a larger dia. Step down the series and dia will remain or just increase minutely while adding a little meat to it.
