Tips needed for using the Lisle spark plug extractor
Freebird -
Thanks so much. That's good to know. I've been reading up on this change for weeks now, so I feel pretty good. I'm glad to know the Lisle works as advertised so hopefully won't have an issue using it if I have to. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Well I just got them all out and none broke. What a relief to have that over with. I'm very grateful for all the tips and advice for getting this job done with the best chance of not breaking any plugs.
My procedure is like many others.
1. Ran 2 complete tanks of gas with seafoam.
2. Cracked the plugs open hot
3. soak for 2 hours with carb cleaner
4. work them back and forth until they're out.
Took me just under 2 hours to get them out after soaking them. The plugs looked very clean with almost no carbon. Don't know if it was the seafoam or not, but it is cheap insurance to use it. I also did pull the PCM and bracket which made the passenger rear plug much better, but that one was still a bear. I'll put the new ones in in the morning. Later guys.
