Tip for removing spark plugs on the 4.6
This has probably been mentioned before a couple times, but I had some difficulty removing the spark plugs from the holes after loosening them all the way. Couldn't get them out with the spark plug socket, a magnet or a mini-grabber. I ended up using the COPs to pull them out. Worked like a charm.
The old plugs were worn, but had no issues; they were about 7 thousand miles overdue for changing. Put in new Bosch Platinum 2's and she purrs like a kitten and the full-throttle downshift hesitation is gone.

How come you went with Bosch? I have to do this within the next 8k miles and was jut wondering what the best plugs were. I keep reading folks go with Motorcraft
