Not trying to tell you what you saw but was it just covers maybe? I used nightshades on my old nissan and a buddy of mine did it to his tauras and both of our headlights had horrible light output afterwards and that was with like two light coats.

No it wasn't covers. It was too light and it wasn't HD headlights.

But also I was wanting opinions on the output after it was done.

Thanks

I have tinted Harley style headlamps. I bought them that way though. I didn't notice much of a decrease in light output.

Right on like I said that was on my old nissan and I guess I didnt mention that I had just plain old stock headlights. I would imagine most of us have HIDs so that would help a lot with light output

I'm pretty sure you can lay window tint over them as well.

Yeah, check this out. I bought some about a year ago for my tails, just haven't installed them yet. Check out the RVinyl site, they have tons of colors and options.
