Default Tinted Tail Lights

Have any of you guys on here tinted your tail lights? What did you use? I've used vht nightshades on my past two trucks but that stuff kind of ruins the tail lights and fades after awhile. Have any of you guys used window tint? How does it work? And what percent did you all use?

You could try using the Lamin-X film on some aftermarket smoked tails or even some stock tails. I know that is what Murderisthegame did. Did you clear coat them after you nightshaded them? I know that helps prolong the life of the tinting on them.

No I didn't clear coat them. I just thought about window tint that way if the cops give me a hassle, which so far they never have, I can just peel it off.
