Default Tilt Steering

Hi all,

Trying to find something about adding tilt steering to my 2004, 4.6.4x4, supercab. XL.
There isn't a lever or anything on the underside of the column. Thought I read somewhere about someone using a f150 from a 1999 would work. But when I serarched I couldn't see anything. I went thru a lot of the stickies without any luck...just a lot of Ideas, (bought the f150 LEDs for the dash and getting those on Saturday) Got mud flaps on and my wife wants me to put Marvin the Martian on them! I do hope to add the LEDs to the cargo bed, already did the tailgate 60 inch LEDs.

Thank you all again for this vast info data and I apologize that I can't find anything on this.

Led's are bad news. Period (for vehicles not designed with / for them)
Most circuits need feedback, and the Led's do not provide that
First thing to determine is if your 04 is a Heritage or not
I believe the columns are different
What I'd do
Get a 05 style, or a 03-style tilt column for your truck from a junkyard
