Does the diamondbird only work on you guys' older year trucks or is this something that my 2010 F150 could benefit from? My truck is SCT tuned if that makes a difference.
Either way, this is a very interesting, cool. and free mod and this has been an awesome 10page thread for me to read. Love the ingenuity!

i think one of the guys on here said it should work for any computer controlled throttle...or fuel injected for that matter....my dad was going to try this on his 2010 next time he drove it...ill report back with any findings...

i bet it will work on any fly by wire set up.
before u do anything check and see if u can hit full throttle with out hitting the firewall, adjust if needed, and do the diamonbird.
its also a good idea to clean your throttle body and maf if you have over 50k on it.

I'm guessing throttle body should be ok since I'm only coming up on 3,700 miles, but I will def check to see if the peddle is hitting the firewall and make adjustments if neccessary before doing the diamondbird.
Thanks guys!

That's what I thought...that it would work on any fuel injected vehicle, but I wasn't sure since this is the 2004-2008 forum and thought that possibly Ford had made some throttle adjustments for the 2009+models. But either way, I'm gonna try it tonight before I go out, and I'll report back...

man just pull off the filter set up, ull need a 10mil socket.
then pull off the TB. be carefull with the wire connectors you have to pull the red thing back and then squeeze to get them off. clean ur TB with cleaner and a rag, get all of the carbon out and off the flap.
its really easy!!!
oh and use a torx or allen and pull the MAF. clean it with MAF cleaner, let dry and put back. (its in the top of the filter assembly.
now i used carb cleaner on my stuff and it worked fine but you might wanna buy the right cleaners. eitherway let the parts dry before you put it back together

Hopefully there is no animosity between different Ford boards, but here is a good write up that I found on another board that I frequent.
