Default Throttle Position Sensor Reset (diamondbird mod)

Hey guys, I was getting a couple codes (p2106, p2135) related to the TPS. I took it off and cleaned it, also cleaned the MAF sensor with the battery disconnected. Put it all back and all is back to normal.

While investigating the codes I stumbled on the threads related to the diamondbird thing, also that 3 bolt pedal adjustment. My pedal wasn't contacting the firewall, but I adjusted it as far toward the seat as I could. Then I did the diamondbird thing and there's no difference. I have tried it several times throughout a few days, even tried different combinations like not switching ignition off after each pedal release, same just after the last release, etc.

My TP% doesn't exceed 75% per my Ancel reader with engine off and ignition on no matter what I do. I'm not a speed demon but I think I should be able to open it up to 100% if I want to.. wanted to see if anyone else has any input or has run into the same?

That DB thing is fake news! You disconnect the battery and do the throttle relearn.

There's no magic throttle thing that's gonna make your truck into some super truck.

Tuners can and will make a huge difference, IF everything else is working correctly.

what do you mean fake news, it's a joke? I don't expect a rocket ship, just figured I'd like the throttle to be able to open to 100%

is the throttle relearn where you idle to operating temp and something with the air conditioning?

Throttle relearn is disconnecting the battery, then let the throttle relearn. There's a great utube vid from fordtechmakuloco. Basically letting idle till it warms up without putting in gear.
